Lake Pukaki

Mario and I went for a drive to the Mackenzie District today. We stopped first at Fairlie for lunch, where it was 30deg C.
Then on to Lake Tekapo to see the wild lupins (see the extra photo).
We stopped at Lake Pukaki, where the water was a beautiful turquoise-blue.

When we got home we went down to the bay where there was a night market on. There were stalls, entertainment, and carnival rides.
The weather was stunning all day, and thoroughly enjoyable.
