Still looking good

Roses are quite amazing .... they continue to flower despite the chilly weather. 

I took Togbe back to Aberfoyle this morning. The weather improved steadily during the morning and it was even warm enough to leave my gloves and hat in the car when M and I took Togbe for a walk. I spotted this rose in a sheltered spot in one of the gardens along by the church.

I don't think my car has ever been so dirty ..... the traffic on the motorway sends so much muck from the wheels that it's hard to keep the windscreen clear. I just had to go to the car wash when I came home but while the gritters continue to spread salt it's hard to keep the car clean.
