Winter Walker

There only one time of year you can get these elongated shadows and that is in the middle of winter when the sun hardly rises above the horizon. It's probably the only time I am so aware of my own shadow and the way it intrudes into the picture or as in this case becomes the main subject of the image. Even the shadows of the dogs and seaweed on the ground are quite evident.
