Christmas Carols

Workington High Street was cordoned off to traffic for a Christmas Fair today, and this brass band was keeping things festive with a medley of Christmas carols. 

I really enjoy the sound of a good brass band. Even more so since seeing the 1996 movie "Brassed Off". The music conjures that scene when Pete Postlethwaite is lying upstairs in his hospital bed while his band play on the lawn beneath his window with tears in their eyes!
