The Queen's Tears

Lots of the Queen's Tears bloomed this fall. I have thought about blipping them often but procrastinated. Now there are a few open flowers left... alas. But, some are...
I got an original slip of a plant from a relative in southern Mississippi. She had a 6 or 7 foot bush in bloom when I last visited. Of course, it is hardy outdoors there. I have given away half of the plant to a local woman with a greenhouse. And this plant desperately needs to be divided come Spring.
I think it is related to the Bromiliad family.
I only recently learned its common name is the Queen's Tears.
