Tis the Season

We went out in the heat this afternoon to visit the centre of the city.  There were lots of people about which always makes me hopeful that the central city will recover fully.  For me it was more enjoyable to be wandering about the city rather than negotiating a crammed shopping mall.
This is Ballantynes Department Store which every Christmas decorates their windows.  The little boys looked like they wanted to be inside the window with Santa and the toys.  I still think it is odd to see traditional snowy scenes when we are starting summer.
