Royal and Ancient

As promised in my blip on Sunday we returned to St Andrews today.

In the morning we visited the ruined castle and cathedral and explored the town. After lunch we strolled the full length of the West Sands made famous by the film Chariots of Fire, and then walked back along the West Sands road past the Old Course.
