Sour Howes and Sallows

Another beautiful day in the Lakes. We were up and out early as Mr.B had a train to catch in the afternoon so time was limited. We completed a couple of lower Wainwrights: Sour Howes and Sallows. I had done both earlier in the year but house rules dictate that I cannot claim them properly until we have both done them so they are now both officially ticked. The low sun and crystal clear light made for a lovely view across Windermere. On the higher slopes, though still not particularly high, I was surprised by the amount of ice still hanging around. It was a shame we couldn't have stayed out longer.
