What is art?

This artist is probably instantly recognised... Picasso. Still life with a mandolin. I am not a fan of 'modern art' but recognise that many are. So what's it worth? Whatever someone is willing to pay for it. The second picture is red and blue on red. It's also in the Dublin national gallery. I don't get it... But it is valuable. Made me think of the things that I value... Family, friends, health, faith, freedom. On these things there is no price. So why not tell your family they're priceless?
