Toy service 2017

The tree was up in church today, beautifully decorated and so difficult to do justice to in a photograph. 

It soon became surrounded with new toys donated for the Lily Trust I shared here last Sunday. The request for donated goods to this charity are of a very necessary practical nature, and the women cannot afford the luxury of toys for their children, so today's gifts will be a real bonus and it was a privilege to be a part of that giving. 

We've had a lovely quiet day at home and recovery is good, and tomorrow we will go for a short walk. It's just the stitches that are holding him back. He will be up and running in no time.....
