Running on Water

This photo was taken at Wakodahatchee Wetlands near Boynton Beach, FL. The park has an awesome boardwalk and tons of critters!  This heron was in a small marsh and was half flying/half jumping from one side to the other trying to get some food.   

Right before I took this, I stumbled on a lone Purple Gallinule who graciously climbed out of the water so that I could take it's photo.  See today's extra photos.
