Getting Mobile

My German teacher is a bit of a technophobe.  She decided she wanted a smart phone and so I gave her my old one. But it decided to ignore sim cards.  So I've bought her a new one.

I'm hoping it's going to be as simple as just dropping in the new sim card and away we go.

But given that you have to produce your passport to buy a pay As You Go Sim in Germany, I suspect there are a few lovely little surprises waiting for us.

My day is best ignored.  People installed new software at the weekend.  It works.  Partially.  But people phoned me to tell me about the parts that don't work. 

And there were loads of them.

I was glad to leave the office.
