Esther the little Star.

I got up early and did a bit of filling and sanding as you do, then got cleaned up for the visitors. Jo, Si, Esther and little Iris came round for drinks and biscuits. Iris slept and was as good as gold, Esther was hilarious and kept us entertained throughout the afternoon until her batteries ran out and she zonked on moms lap.

A great catch-up with Jo and Si who we don't see often enough despite only being a few streets away.

Unfortunately we had to cancel the afternoon dinner we had planned with my folks and sister as my mom has come down with the flu. She must be ill because she will normally soldier on through anything but this has her bed bound. They go on holiday on Thursday up until Christmas Eve so it's a pity we couldn't have a social before all the Christmas madness.
