Not a sword for war

Day 1 of our workshop for tutors on the Learning Assistant Programme at Port Loko Teachers' College in Sierra Leone today. We were in the main 'lecture theatre' for the day, with this mural as our backdrop. The words underneath are particularly poignant given that the painting was done in 1996, pretty well right in the middle of the country's devastating civil war.
