This is at Allington lock on the Medway. Engraved next to this door are the high water levels for a number of years - FW for flood water? The highest and latest are for 1927; the Medway sluice was installed in 1937 which might explain the absence of later entries. This area does still flood though and the latest high flooding was in 2000.
