Father Xmas

R’s last day at preschool today and she brought home some gorgeous things she had made. A beautiful painted candle holder, card with her handprint and a decoration which she was v proud of along with a letter form Santa in reply to the one posted from preschool.

She also got her first ever report and we were v proud. Her key worker told me how well she has settled in, describing R as independent, confident, happy and bubbly - how wonderful and said she is almost a year ahead with her speech which is amazing but not altogether surprising since I hear her wonderful conversations!!

I’m happy she has settled so well and clearly enjoys going on her two mornings - the ladies could not be better with her which makes it easier too. I’m glad we still get lots of mornings and afternoons together though - love my little helper!

C was very impressed about his visit to the local fire station with Beavers tonight and came back citing all sorts of facts and figures about houses and hoses. He’d been in the fire engine and even seen the poles. Brilliant!
