Clapham Common: Shake a Tail Feather

Groovier (but for the tail) in large.

This is part of a series of this heron shaking (right from here).
The Goosles were nowhere to be seen, but I did notice the heron flying purposefully over to an empty bench by the playing field: turns out that there is a man who feeds it there ever morning, and it was going over in anticipation of his arrival (which he did as I photographed the waiting heron). It really is an unusual character...
