Alan Franklin restoration

We recently took this Jardinière to an expert for restoration.
We collected it today after a magnificent repair.

Although the cost of the superb workmanship outstripped the value of the pot, it was worth every penny.

This is Alan in his workshop surrounded by the precious objects brought to him by careless owners.
