The Ghost of Christmas Past

What an excellent day. We met friends in London and went to a performance of Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol' at the Old Vic. I've seen productions of it before but this was without doubt the best. A great show and well worth seeing if you can still get tickets. Afterwards a meal in the Covent Garden area and a few drinks, and now on the train home.

The picture is of an umbrella shop near the British Museum. I rather like the sign hidden behind the traffic lights which offers Life Preservers, Dagger Canes and Sword Sticks!
