Christmas at the Edinburgh Botanics

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas when the trees and Glasshouses are spectacularly lit and all aglow with the most wonderful lighting effects. The one mile illuminated trail provides a magical visual and musical experience after dark.

I have to admit that my legs were just a bit weary when L and I eventually got back to Waverley Station after 'doing' the Christmas Market, the Botanics Trail and the Journey Through Frozen Scotland Ice Sculptures.
