Bad Housekeeping

I was a bit horrified to find this strung across my fireplace today.
A pity there isn't a challenge on to suit it. Such as "House of Horror".
I was suspicious the tiny dots were babies but not certain till I shone the torch on them and they were moving. 
And it's quite obvious with the macro lens.

Achievement of the day: just took the Christmas cake out of the oven :-)
