Steep

S and I headed into our nearest conurbation, Glossa (pop. 900), for supplies. Like almost everywhere else on this island, Glossa is steep. The man we saw driving his moped up some steps (shallower than these) obviously had it sussed; much harder for those whose knees are past their best.


Glossa is picturesque and this is not a fair picture, but irresistible.
