bucky 2

Part 2 of Tractor Factory Photos's little Series.

After a gruelling journey through the Innocent Railway tunnel Bucky the Ducky made it to the other end to witness the cool-as moonrise and ponder where next he might journey. Although the tunnel is usually perfectly safe he had heard that during the school holidays the south-east end can occasionally be infested with bored youths and cheap cider though today it was deserted apart from the occasional cyclist. Still, he was glad he had brought along some new friends for protection.

As stated yesterday by TFP: if you would like to incorporate Bucky into your Blip schedule please email buckytheducky at googlemail.com supplying the address to which he should be posted. I can also deliver him anywhere within the general Edinburgh area by velocipede or feet and save the price of a stamp and the risk of the whole thing being knackered by the Royal Mail. Once you have received and blipped just tag the entry with buckyblip and send him on.

A word of warning: if you're planning on getting your boiler replaced be very wary indeed if the central heating engineers doing the installing offer you a Vokèra condensing combi. There is a risk that the heat exchanger might break after three months with further complications possible if the original engineer visiting from the company who installed it can't fix it and the second visit from an operative of the manufacturer arrives without the stated broken component because he needs to take samples from the radiators to check for corrosion and because there may also be an outside chance that the replacement heat exchanger he brings on his next visit (which incurs the use of a taxi to get home from work as he didn't bloody ring to give me twenty minutes' warning like I bloody asked) is the WRONG FECKING MODEL despite it being quite clear which model it was. Hopefully the return visit will occur at a convenient time tomorrow and will result in hot water.

At least it was nice and sunny today.
