Goldfinch....

....bundled up in a winter coat.   

I returned home from Florida late last night just in time to miss the cold front moving through there.  It has already turned very cold here and I have spent a quiet day indoors.  I am really feeling the change in temperatures and I can't seem to get myself warm enough in spite of turning up the heat, hot showers, warm sweaters and slippers.   I guess I will get used to it in a few days.  This was taken from inside through the kitchen window. The leaves have all fallen from the trees and it is now quite easy to get some winter bird shots.
