Silly Saturday

I really couldn’t go very far today – this bug is really sapping my energy. I had to go to my car to get something out of the passenger side. I stepped back as I opened the door, looked down and to my amazement I saw a small clump of Nigella (love in a mist). The blooms are a little pale and I suppose that is to do with the length of the day and lack of sun!

According to Google their flowering time is July to September so what is it doing out in December - now how SILLY is that. We’ve had some quite hard frosts so why they haven’t been cut down I don’t know.
