The Cruelty of Nature

On my walk at the lake this morning I saw these two ducks attacking the little brown duck. I don't know why, perhaps he was just different. I tried to chase them off but they just kept coming back. The poor wee thing was all battered and bloody. Survival of the fittest I guess. :-(
