Knitivity

Leo’s footie match was cancelled - yah! So we finally found time to get the decorations sorted. Outside lights are up, tree is all nicely decorated, various christmassy bits are scattered about the place, and mum’s knitivity scene is in pride of place.

We had a trip to the library where we picked up a couple of surprise books, then had a nice plod around the town to check out the new shops and cafes that have opened. Then we popped into the wool shop as mum needed a replacement zip - and of course came home carrying a load more wool!

After the tree was up, we had a very late lunch of a lovely tasty beef bourgignon pie, which I only bought as Leo makes me laugh as he invented a boeuf bourgignon rap/chant when his Aunty Nina was last here and he was trying to show off his language skills.

I was lazy for the rest of the day. Leo popped out with a friend but they were back within 10 minutes as it was so cold so they played FIFA instead. Ian and I watched a couple of films whilst I got stuck into some crochet - operation crochet Christmas present is looking good so far!
