Eve of Finland’s 100th Anniversary

Today we had A’s mother Hilkka and daughter Kati come over for a pre-independence day dinner. Earlier during the week A had prepared a celebratory dinner at a culinary school in Helsinki during a company Christmas party, and he adapted his newly acquired skills here. The dessert in the form of a Pavlova cake was especially delicious. And of course the nature around us had done its best to get ready for the big thing tomorrow - the inner yard at Charlotta looked just magic when I took the trash out in the evening.
