Holt Christmas Lights

Dear friend B and I went into Holt at around 5pm to photograph the Christmas Lights.  Not as easy as you would think.  All the shops and businesses close at 5pm, so there were a lot of cars about, almost the rush hour in fact.  So it was difficult to get shots without cars or car headlights in the way.
I felt rather sorry for these folks waiting at the bus stop, even though it is a very smart bus stop indeed (built to celebrate the Millennium) but happily their bus came along after a short wait.
The extra shows one of the art galleries and Bakers and Larners displaying their lights.  All the shops in the high street have these types of ‘icicle’ lights so the look is very consistent and attractive.
