Snow- not wanted

So much snow this morning covering every surface and it continued to snow for most of the day. No gritters or snow ploughs in sight so the roads were horrid.Managed to get to Mike’s Mum and Dads in Bushey passing many cars that were stuck trying to get up hill.Luckily Mike knows how to drive in snow but we did miss the land rover .
Had a lovely time there and delicious dinner. Debbie and Colin managed to get up so great to see them too !
Decided to leave earlier than we intended to make sure we made it to Harry Potter World in plenty of time, disappointed to be turned away at the gates as they had to close early because of the weather and staff not being able to get there. We’ve been told to go back tomorrow and try , if it’s open that is.
Just had a nice pizza in the hotel, not going any where tonight as the pavements have compacted snow and sooo icy :(
M’ s Mum’s garden looked lovely in the snow, M’s Dad had just fed the birds and a flock of long tailed tits came down and sat in the snow covered branches.
