Snow watching

There was no sign of any snow when I got up to make a cup of tea but by the time I was properly up and ready to walk Bailey it was coming down quite speedily and wellies were required. Bailey seemed to quite like it, it was very peaceful and I was wrapped up enough to decide to do the big block. Home for breakfast and work and a bit of snow watching for Bailey.

No marking to do today for the first Sunday in quite a while but a reasearch-heavy Y13 lesson to prep and a couple of documents to type up. I worked and Bailey slept until I had a late lunch and realised that the snow had virtually all gone. We walked around the block before a quick trip to the supermarket to buy a few necessities for the week and some work presents.

Then a visit from Bailey's favourite people this afternoon with a food parcel and the return of the gorgeous girl (formerly known as the official Bailey sitter) from university. Bailey was suitably welcoming but his absolute favourite remains the same. One last walk in the dark and more - very wet - snow before the Strictly results. And that's the weekend done with just 8 more school days left of Term Two.
