Wound up in Wexford

Swedish church in Copenhagen

We've had another lovely day.

After a more leisurely start than we intended, we got the Metro to Nørreport. Then we walked through the botanical gardens - obviously not at their best at this time of the year, but still pleasant. We stopped for a coffee, and ArcLight, J and B joined us.

We then found our way through another park to the Kastellet, a star shaped fortress. On the edge of the moat was the Swedish church, catching the sun, and reflected nicely. We walked around the Kastellet to the Little Mermaid, where ArcLight organised a "selfie" of the 5 of us. Shortly after, we split up for the final time. It's been a good few family days.

We crossed the Øresund once more, joined by poor Z whose flight back to the UK was cancelled due to the weather! She hasn't had the best travel experiences this weekend. We negotiated the Swedish bus system to get to and from R's flat, and are now back at our B&B, finishing the bottle of mead that I bought yesterday. Home tomorrow, weather permitting.
