What I've Done

Thirlmere reflections

LARGE is good!

Set out for Tarn Hows today, in search of fungi on our nature week - and we did, finding sparassis crispa, boletus edulis and amanita muscaria, through a drizzly afternoon. On the way there, during a calm sunny morning, we passed Thirlmere - looked at the reflections and had to stop for an hour.

We walked down to the edge of the lake, and were surprised at how high the water levels were. For this pic, I was standing in water just below the top of my boots. Kept dry though!

Great day.
