Gostrey meadow

Another place I pass on the way to and from work is Gostrey meadow.  A lovely public space with a stream and bandstand. And at this time of year home to part of the towns Christmas light display. 

Momentary parking can be a tad difficult in Farnham but a lonely parking spot beckoned me in as I was about to pass by. So I dived in.  Got the camera out of the car, wove my way through traffic, found my spot next to a lovely puddle, setup my camera, put the camera away, made my way back to the car, retrieved a memory card from the camera bag in the boot before once again re tracing my steps to setup tripod and camera to capture todays blip.

Journey was interesting this morning driving through the sleet along the motorway to find fully settled snow in the higher parts of town. Busy day at work and just half day tomorrow.  

Drs appointment first thing to discuss options on resolving a gentleman's issue when one reaches a certain age.  Both options I understand can bring a tear to the eye.  Happy days.

We were due to go and see Chris Rea at Bournemouth but Chris was sadly taken ill on stage whilst playing in Oxford and has cancelled tomorrows gig for health reasons.
