FRONT DOOR - WELCOME

I am a bit mixed up about Christmas Festivities- I want to invite everyone in....come in.....and immediately offer a full buffet "Nigella Style"......without doing any of the work.......and on the other hand....I want preserve all the time off I get from work....hunker down with a duvet and enjoy TV and treats with or without varying members of my immediate family....so it's difficult to reach a happy medium......to reach the welcoming "Nigella state" involves time and effort equalling = tiredness......upon an already tired state !
The Door says Welcome......all are.......they will be well looked after....fed and watered.....whatever and whenever is required......
