Heat wave remedy

I had to go to Sydney today for work and left home soon after 7am.  I got back to Newie around 3.30 pm and boy was it a stinker.  My car said it was 42C at Wahroonga and 42.5C along the M1.   It was 38C when I got home and put the air conditioning on.  So what do you do in heat wave conditions like that?  Well you go to the beaches or pools don't you.  In this case, although not in this shot, there were quite a few people at Newie baths cooling off and running through the canoe pool.  I think we could do with some of that snow I have seen in the Northern Hemisphere blips.
