Brave Enough To Head For The Hills Today.

Another wet horrible grey day but I was still brave enough to head out for the Hills today as my photo evidence proves.

In 2003 the housing estate known locally as "The Hills" Officially became part of Grimsargh as a result of a Local Government Boundary Review requested by the Parish Council. It is accessed off Longridge Road, part of the B6243, before it becomes Preston Road and real Grimsargh.

It is the lowest lying part of Grimsargh from where you can see no Hills, so I am really surprised that it was called "The Hills". Plans are underway to built houses between The Hills and St Michael's Church so eventually The Hills will be a joined up part of Grimsargh.
