Only Connect

Attended a wonderful event as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival this lunchtime called "A Picture in Mind" organised by one of our blip family Acronymphomania (who patiently posed for my blip today) and featuring Blip Dearleader Joe Blogs.

Really powerful and insightful, especially from Mark Gould and artist Lorraine Nicholson sharing their moving stories of photography and their own mental health and wellbeing. Strong messages for me about the power of photography for expression, connecting us all and the human condition.





My return to the office was a sombre one though, with some tragic and sad news affecting - separately- a couple of members of my staff team. Our floor became a very quiet and reflective one this afternoon.

Right now would the moment to tell everyone you love just how much you love them. Right now.
