In other news, I’ve been back to the optician to moan about my varifocal lenses which are no good whatsoever for looking at a computer screen as the depth of field is ridiculously narrow at that range. To be fair, the distance range is really good and makes driving and watching TV better but that’s the only advantage. So, they are ordering me the next level up quality and price-wise (at their cost rather than mine) which should be better. If not, Plan C is to have a separate pair for computer use. There’s always a solution, they tell me; it’s just a case of finding it.
