Abstract Thursday: Colorful Lights

This is a long exposure of the lights on my Christmas tree.  The pattern was created with camera movement.  Then I gave a little boost to the contrast and saturation for the colorful theme today.  Many thanks to Ingeborg for continuing to host Abstract Thursdays!

Tonight was my monthly dinner with three of my friends from the last place I worked before I retired 10 years ago.  We started meeting after I retired.  Since then two more have retired and third is working elsewhere.  Tonight we talked about how our friendship has endured and how close we have stayed over the years.  I am very grateful for that!
