For years Anton Pieck's aquarels were used for Season's Greetings cards here in Holland as many of his scene's breath the atmosphere of Charles Dickens' Christmas Carols.
Over the years we sent and received numerous of those cards, and this is a copy of one.
Tomorrow I hope to manage to get to Deventer where the annual Dickens' Festival is held and then I hope to picture some characters like these here.
