Am I bovvered?

It takes a lot to ruffle Jerome, who is sitting in the sunshine on the ancient settle  in the conservatory with not a bother on him as Christmas preparations carry on around him.Jerome  is a stray who moved in to the territory pretty quickly after Edie Puss died. He's very shy and Himself has told him that he's not an indoor cat which seems to be okay - this is his spot. He's remarkably dim but good natured - his favourite pastime being sleeping. I think he must have had to fend for himself from a very young age for he doesn't seem to know how to do many cattish things. He now has our ancient Ada as a role model, so Heaven help him as shes completely bonkers and even less bright!
The lads should be disembarking at Rosslare shortly - an hour and a half delay due to adverse weather conditions - eek, and it so calm and sunny here today.  ETA midnight. Can't wait.
Edit (19.54) Bloody hell. I spoke too soon. Son2 has just rung - the engine of the boat has packed in and they can't get into the harbour and are just floating around :(:(
Edit edit: 21.29 - just docked, now they have a 4/5 hour drive. Urghhh.
