Lemmings

This BBC News article made me laugh today and I found myself reminded of it walking along Princes Street in the rain.

More that just inspiring the today's blip the subject of the "No eye contact" commuter disconnected from their piers is perhaps deeper one affecting society. I don't commute any more, Thank goodness. However I do remember walking past the same people every morning and never so much as exchanging a smile. One Day I decided to smile at some of these people, the following day I seam to remember some of them crossed the street!

Nostalgic rhetoric suggests that it was not like that in yester-year, and they were all so much happier, then? Really?
