a fishy tale

Steve & I were enjoying sitting on the dock this afternoon when he heard something -he jumped up to check his crab trap. Look what we found inside when Steve pulled the trap out of the water! 

We discovered via research, this is a Mangrove Snapper! We've never caught one of these before. I love the red tips on the top of his fins. This fish was too small to keep, but it was fun to find and photograph.

I created a collage with a photo of Steve holding the trap after he pulled it up out of the water and a lovely backlight photo of our dog, Chloe.
