Bank Holiday

It is a bank holiday here in south Africa today and as we found out when we went to Tzaneen a lot of the shops are not open. Thankfully the food shopping places were so we went home with bags replenished; but not a lot of the Christmas shopping got done! 
Camera has been lazy for the last two days; this is the only different thing that I found today so here it is - a huge shiny black beetle coming and then going on a piece of wood in the work shed.  Its body was about 2.5 inches long and it was in a hurry, hence the lack of quality in the shot!
