Bridge House, St Neots

Bridge House is a 16th century building which stands right beside the River Ouse in St Neots. It is a popular pub and restaurant with excellent river views for outside diners in the warmer months. This interesting carved stone is on a gable wall facing the road.

A rather miserable afternoon for shopping. But we did manage to replenish our rhubarb and ginger gin. We are trying Lidl's version this time and came home to do little taste tests. Both passed but unfortunately the dearer one was much nicer!
