Standing up for children

I don't know what the collective noun is for a group of ombudspersons for children, but most of the 42 (and rising) currently operating in Europe are in this picture, taken at their annual meeting in the Cyprus Hilton. Since the first was established in Norway 30 years ago, this is quite an increase, unparalleled in any other continent. Although they look like waxworks, they're actually pretty active. Some in attendance were observers (like me); the chap in the cap is a prison officer, youth justice and incarceration being this year's theme.
