Hard times

for Santa.He's taken to selling the Big Issue outside the Bank in Stockton High Street.I've only just arrived in Richmond.
Got off to a bad start when I was checking bus timetable and just spotted my  bus coming.I put my hand out and he did stop further along.He told me off and I apologised.
When I arrived at Newcastle I apologised again and said I would have missed my connection to Richmond.
What ye gannin to Richmond for ? I said I as going on to Folkstone but don't hold out much hope of getting there in one piece.My friend hasn't arrived home yet.I hope she hurries up so we can attack the ginger wine or some other sort.
