Industrial Heritage

Searching for Aspull Pumping house which kept all the coal mines from flooding a century ago.  This the site of a once famous foundry and rolling mill.  The trees in the distance are planted on the old spoil heaps.  Didn't find the ruin - good excuse to go back.  New tracks for running discovered.  Another extra of same place which we didn't know existed until today even though very close to where we live  : )
