Life through my eyes

Christmas presents delivered!

This morning we left just at 07:05 and got to the Cardiff Park and Ride at 07:49, perfectly timed to get the first bus into Cardiff as we planned.  A coffee and snack in Costa (Mr T was thrilled when I found a pigs in blanket panini)!  We popped into M&S as I wanted to get some jogging bottoms that I had seen on line.  Very cheap and smart enough to wear in the office, as well as the gym.  They were selling all the Christmas gifts half price so got a great Christmas sweater and Christmas PJs for Mr T.  Seeing as we are staying at home this year we can lounge around for as long as we fancy!  Then the running shop had opened so we went there and 40 minutes later they had found me a pair of trainers that have cushioning for my heel and support for my arch.  The lady was very good and did all the analysis by eye, rather than a computer as had been done before.

From there we had lunch and then headed to see the grandchildren.  They had their holiday presents first and then Christmas presents.  We had just bought some bits and bobs from Aldi over the last few months and they went down well.  H and L had space hoppers (or space bubbles as H calls them) and he loves Minions and had wanted a space hopper for ages but they hadn't been able to find one small enough for them.  He was over the moon, and they spent ages bouncing around (just as well as they devoured the chocolate lollipops, big brothers lollipops, chocolate Santas (once L had been convinced not to cuddle it), and cookies!  My Blip today is a collage of the three little rascals cuddling chocolate and wearing space bubbles!  I had also asked the knitting club at work to make Minions for the boys and these were instantly loved.  They sell knitted things each year to raise money for the Alzheimers Society (so a win-win).

Always nice to be home, but said to go, and apparently we were missed as soon as we left!

Thanks to Admirer for hosting Silly Saturday.
